Even though it was raining in the morning and very cloudy, Jean (the BEST guide) and I were lucky enough to see the beautiful kraters and other vulcanos. After that Jean took me to Cartago to see the beautiful church and in between everything we had some good conversations! I had a blast! Muchos gracias Jean!

The way up the volcano is full of interesting agrarian views. We were very blessed to see into the crater and the Laguna was torques and stunning. We enjoyed it greatly.

A very interesting location. Like a lunar landscape. What a difference from the rainforest environment I was in yesterday. When they tell you to dress warmly, heed the advice. It was 6 degrees at the crater viewing spots. And go early. The clouds can roll in quickly and completely obstruct any views of the craters. My guide was fantastic, too. Very patient and informative.

Super belle journée avec notre guide Antonio. Nous étions seulement 4 personnes et notre guide a pris le temps de nous faire un tour de ville avec les explications très intéressantes . Nous avons eu la chance pendant quelques minutes de voir le volcan et wowww quelle beauté nous sommes resté environ 1:30 sur le volcan et nous avons jamais senti de pression pour qu’on se dépêche ....par la suite ville de Cartago l’église . Tout était parfait nous sommes parti à 8:00 am et de retour à 14h. Merci Antonio!

Compre este tour directamente en la pagina del operador, me sorprendió la rapidez con la que me contactaron, quizá uno o dos minutos después de enviar la solicitud. Fui con un grupo relativamente pequeño de 3 personas, los tiempos de espera entre cada hotel no fueron rápidos pero tampoco mucho tiempo, en total yo calculo que un promedio de 5 minutos por hotel (el tiempo depende de cada cliente, no digo que sea culpa del operador). Mi visita fue rápida a Costa Rica, tuve solamente un fin de semana para conocer tortuguero y el lunes por la mañana me decidí a realizar este tour, la verdad es muy conveniente si quieres viajar por la tarde, ya que te recogen en el hotel, haces el tour y te dejan en el aeropuerto. En cuanto al clima, muy bonito todo, por un instante pensé que no podría ver el cráter principal del volcán pero en cuestión de 5 minutos se despejó totalmente, por lo que creo que tuve suerte, en cuanto al servicio y todo lo demás volvería a contratar esta compañía por el servicio tan puntual y eficiente que ofrece.

Visité el volcán irazu con amigos en diciembre y la pasamos genial con la ayuda de nuestro guía jean. Quien no solamente fue puntual, nos explicó detalles al respecto de flora y fauna q desconocíamos y colaboró con que el viaje fuera increíble con su excelente trato.

One of the best tours I have been, very professional and friendly, in addition to the natural beauties that we visited, the guide was very attentive and the service in general was one of the best.

I really liked the tour, taking into account that I was able to do everything that the tour details, I think my sister and I were lucky, we had a very friendly guide and we loved the treatment of the people at the Volcano, once the tour was over they took us directly to the airport, it really is a phenomenal service, we are very happy!

The visit to the Irazu Volcano was impressive. We were able to see the three craters. The morning was cloudy and foggy, but we were lucky enough that the fog had lifted for our time there was perfect timing and covered the whole area as we were ready to depart. The earlier you arrive the better. On the way back to San Jose we stopped at the Basilica de Los Angeles and it was beautiful and impressive. Our guide and driver Fernando Solar was excellent, professional and knowledgeable.

Hermoso tour, contamos con la compañia d Jairo el guia turistico q nos explicó toooodo acerca d este hermoso pais, la atencion fue increible,nos llevo a lugares llenos d historia y gracias a las recomendaciones q nos hizo probamos la mejor comida d costa rica, lo super recomiendo.

The tour is essentially the following: Pickup from your hotel. I received an email the day before saying that I would be picked up at 625am. In the morning the company had contacted my hotel to let me know that they'd be 20 mins late. That's ok but it was probably closer to being 40 mins late. Bus will pick up remaining passengers from their hotel. Tour guide speaks both Spanish and English. My guide would speak in Spanish and then repeat in English or vice versa. Stop 1 is at a supermarket. There are restrooms. Stop 2 is at the Irazo national Park where you can see the volcano craters. The tour guide will point out things on the way. KEEP IN MIND the green lake you see in the images is no longer there due to a landslide 3 months ago. At least that's what the guide told me. Stop 3 is at the church where you have about 10 mins to take a picture. Not sure if you can normally enter but my group couldn't on the day. Turns out my tour group was a split between 2 different tours that begin the same. Those on the full day tour will continue on with the tour guide and the others will be placed on a different mini bus back to San Jose. The traffic will be horrible. My driver only spoke Spanish and had decided to drop off the passenger furthest away first which was on the other side of the airport near Alajuela. I really wish the driver had coordinated the drop offs better as they had already driven close to my hotel in San Jose as well as that of another passenger. Overall I thought it was cool to see the volcano craters but I feel like I mostly paid for a really long mini bus trip. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions. If you do decide to go be sure to check the weather as a cloudy day could ruin the views you see at the craters.

A very nice tour. Our guide was friendly, and on time. It is really nice up there on the volcano. The airport drop off was also very convenient.
