An incredible experience

Irazu visit
The experience was very cool, we arrived at the volcano and the guide told us we had 10 minutes before the mist arrived and that's how it was, excellent knowledge of the weather, Lankester, an incredible experience for flower and plant lovers; the lunch was delicious and the view was unparalleled.

On top of the world !
Like any magical wonder of the world the weather plays a crucial part of any experience. My daughter and I had the most incredible time up at the volcano…. Even on the way up the views were mind blowing! We adventure around the crater for hours … soaked up the sun, (take sun block!) we were mesmerised by the rolling clouds and changing sky scape.

Best tour
What a magnificent experience! Out driver Austin was a wonderful driver, I felt so safe. Van was so cleaned, smelled so good. Our guide was Percy! He was Amazing! So smart so knowledgeable and able to manage English and Spanish effortlessly. He has an amazing personality! Super friendly! Worth every cent. Memories for a lifetime. Take us back!
First please increase Hayro’s salary by 2-3 times. He is a gem! Truly an amazing person- we cannot thank him enough. Not only is he so responsible and safe but so knowledgeable and kind. My teenager cheered each time he was our guide! We saw so many things and learned so so much. We will talk about this for years and years! We will so be back and book tours with Summer Travel CR! Summer Travel - just some side thoughts- let people know early what to pack earlier and have them exchange cash to colones. Travelers- make sure to bring cash for tips and carry a bit in your pocket. I felt badly when I didn’t have cash on me (such as during zip lining - those men were beyond amazing, I so wanted to give them tips). Also - traffic is so bad in CR so sometimes you may feel a little rushed but it’s so you can get everything in- I would still recommend this package even though it was a lot - we made so many memories! Such a great introduction to this country. The only thing that we were somewhat disappointed with was the hotel. It’s a nice hotel, clean and staff are friendly. Breakfast was pretty good- standard hotel food with a little CR flare (and definitely better fruit than in the US!). It’s just not close to any restaurants. Lunch on our tours was beyond amazing and filling but my teen was always hungry when we got back for dinner. We ordered out a lot which was ok. Hairo was one of the drivers/ tour guide for about 4 days. He was very kind and knowledgeable. All the drivers and tour guides that we encountered were amazing as well. Fantastic trip!
Hyro, our guide, was attentive, knowledgeable, well spoken and a pleasure to know. In general, Costa Ricans are the hardest workers with the best attitudes. Everyone was friendly and wanted to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. We had an outstanding experience.

Beautiful and memorable but intensive!
Our guide Erik was wonderful. The tour was beautiful! My only issue is that I do not think that enough emphasis is made on how extremely intensive the walking is. I honestly felt I was going to faint. Please be aware of this for your own safety!

Waterfall, Hanging Bridges & Regular Hot Springs
We had an excellent day! Our guide was passionate, very knowledgeable, and took the time to introduce us to the local wildlife and flora. The visit ended with a moment of relaxation in the hot springs. The activity was well organized and suitable for our family with an 8-year-old child. I recommend this excursion for the varied and relaxing experience.
